Historical Note -- Investiture Feast

Mistress Kennett was the Feastcrat for the Baronial Investiture with it's Russian theme.

The Feast was as follows:

First Remove        

 Goats Butter - Bread - Mushroom Stew

Second Remove      

Grilled Chicken - w/Walnut & Garlic Sauce or Plum Sauce - Green Bean & w/ Walnut Salad - Kasha

Third Remove

Kulebiaka (Salmon Loaf)

Fourth Remove

Boiled Beef a la Russe w/Hoseradish Sauce - Carrots and Turnips 

Dessert

Apple Baba

 

 

In addition to selecting dishes, testing recipes and gathering a trained crew for this historical important event, Mistress Kennett also found the time to make matching Russian tabards for the kitchen staff.  When called out to the head table to receive accolades for the amazing meal, it also showed the amount of dedication and attention to detail that was put into every aspect of the event.
